My nephew standing by a sliced tomato sculpture outside the Farmer’s Market in Nashville. I don’t know who made it, but it appears to be plasma cut and painted steel.
Ideas
I like the designs on these old keys. Would adapt well to ironwork.
A tapered picket done on the power hammer. 1 1/4″ sq down to about 1/2″.
A side return style picket with a chiseled anchor plate.
Some different possible twists.
Sample pieces done for a railing. Two solid forged diamonds and an alternating twist in 1″ sq. solid.
Fishtailed ends, punched bars, heavily hammer textured.
Lots of detail in this railing sample. Split bar scrolls, chiseled twists, twisted taper newel post.
A simple railing design inspired by an Egyptian motif.
A pair of pendant lights, shapes cut out on our plasma machine. Rust and shined steel finish. Design by Chad Martin.
